Hello, everyone! Hope your Monday is going great π
Over the weekend, I was scouring the World Wide Web for fun tags to do and I found the very interesting Book Blogger Memory Challenge. So even though I don’t have the best memory, I decided to take on this challenge and see how well I’d do.
Rules: You must answer these questions without looking anything up on the internet and without looking at your bookshelves
I’m embarrassed to admit that it took me waaay longer than I anticipated. Trying to think of answers without looking at my shelves or the internet is difficult, okay? Don’t judge me. But, all difficulties aside, I managed to come up with answers for all the questions, so here they are π
1. Name a book written by an author called Michael.

The first Michael that popped into my head was Michael Jordan but I don’t really know if he’s written any books. But the next Michael is Michael Grant and I actually have this book, so that’s my final answer! π
2. Name a book with a dragon on the cover.
I’m not even surprised that the moment I saw ‘dragon’ in the question I immediately thought of Eragon. But I am surprised that I remember Scorched by Mari Mancusi because when I read it a few years ago, I thought it was just… meh.
3. Name a book about a character called George.

I really couldn’t think of another character named George other than George Weasley. I tried, okay?
4. Name a book written by an author with the surname Smith.
I never actually finished reading The Vampire Diaries series, I actually gave all the books to a friend of mine who LOVED it. It just wasn’t for me, and the TV show wasn’t my favorite either. I did like The Forbidden Game, though. I don’t know if I’ll still like it now, but I did in 2011 π
5. Name a book set in Australia.
Here’s another one that really surprised me. I’m a forgetful person, so I’m very surprised that I could remember not one, but TWO books set in Australia!
6. Name a book with the name of a month in the title.

I don’t have this book, but I remember that it was ALL OVER Instagram and a lot of my friends read and loved it π
7. Name a book with a knife on the cover.

I actually don’t know if that’s a knife on the cover, but I’m just gonna go with it π
8. Name a book with the word βoneβ in the title.

I won’t be reading this book, but it’s the only one I can think of that has the word ‘one’ in the title…
9. Name a book with an eponymous title.

I didn’t know what ‘eponymous’ means, so I had to look it up. I didn’t cheat! I just used the dictionary π
10. Name a book turned into a movie.
Oh… Where do I begin? The latest book-to-movie I’ve seen is Bird Box and even though I haven’t read the book, I really enjoyed the movie π
And many more….
So that’s it for this tag! It was a lot of fun to do, and if you haven’t done this tag, I tag you! If you want to do it, of course π

Well done! This is such a fun tag!

I’m pretty sure there’s a picture book just called George (which I have never read), and that would be the only George I could come up with. :p

Really? I had no idea haha
The only other George I know is probably Curious George ;D

Oh wow, this looks like a tough challenge! I don’t think I would be able to get a lot of these answers from memory without looking anything up – I’m impressed with how well you did! π
