Dragon’s Loyalty Award

I was tagged for this award by Joey of Thoughts and Afterthoughts. Thank you so much for tagging me!

I’ve seen this tag around the blogging world, but I have no idea what it is. Why is it a loyalty award? Why a dragon? And why is it Dragon’s Loyalty? So since I’m Curious Maddie, I did a little research. Sadly, I didn’t find out why it’s called the Dragon’s Loyalty Award, but I did find out why it is awarded to bloggers. According to Parajunkee (I don’t know if this is the source of the award, but…)

The Dragon’s Loyalty Award is an award for the loyal fan/commenter, whether the recipient is a fellow blogger or just a someone who follows and comments regularly.

Okay, moving on. Here are the rules:

DRAGON’S LOYALTY AWARD:dragons-loyalty-award1

– Display the award on your blog.
– Announce your win with a post.
– Link the blogger who awarded you.
– Present six deserving blogs with the award.
– Link your awardees in the post and let them know of their being awarded.
– Write seven interesting things about you.

I wonder why a lot of awards need people to mention interesting things about themselves. I’m not a very interesting person, I think. I have to check a previous post to make sure I don’t repeat what I’ve already said 🙂

1. I LOVE RAINBOWS

I love colorful things, especially pens. Every time I go to a bookstore and see colorful pens, I will buy them even though I already have like 4397027502 pens at home. I’m exaggerating, but still. I actually just bought a set of twelve color pens yesterday 😀

2. There is a list of everything

I make lists of anything and everything I could think of. Using my rainbow pens, of course. I don’t know why, but I just love making lists. Shopping lists, TBR list, to-do lists, ‘how many assignments I have left’ lists, ‘what to prepare in case of a zombie apocalypse’ list, and many more 😀

3. Commitment issues

Not in relationships, but in other things. For example; I can’t tell you how many diaries I’ve bought in my 21 years of life and not a single one have been written on until the last page. I don’t think I even used half the book. Or when I said I want to drink green tea every day. That lasted for less than a week before I completely forgot all about it.

4. Disney and Pixar movies forever

I love Disney and Pixar movies (I think they’re together now, though), mostly the old ones but there are exceptions. I would rather watch Disney movies than ‘grown-up movies’. I don’t like superhero movies like Spiderman, Batman, Iron Man, etc., but I love The Incredibles. I don’t like watching romantic movies, but I love Tangled and Beauty and the Beast.

5. Washing dishes is NOT part of cooking

I love to cook, but I hate washing dishes. So, whenever I cook at home, I will make my brother do the dishes. It’s only fair, right?

6. Staying at home vs. Going out

When I’m at home, I am soo lazy to go out. The entire process of picking out what to wear, changing my clothes, putting on eyeliner and just the ‘getting ready’ part of it makes me cringe. But when I’m already out, like when I’m at uni, and it’s still early, I refuse to go home. I’d make my friends go to the mall or any other places, so I don’t have to go home yet. I didn’t spend all that time getting ready in the morning just to go home so soon, right? 😀

7. The Powerpuff Girls Theme Song

I’ve been seeing so many Powerpuff Yourself pictures around Instagram and other social media and the Powerpuff Girls theme song is STUCK IN MY HEAD. So I decided to do my own Powerpuff Me to see if it will help get rid of the song on repeat. It didn’t.

I nominate:

The Orang-utan Librarian

Ali @ I Wuv Books

Jaed @ The Bibliophile Blogs

Hallé Gold

Catherine @ Escape by Reading

Lisa @ Remarkably Lisa

That’s all for today! Bye 😀

      1. Yes! That was me yesterday. I cooked crepes because I was feeling especially nice. Afterwards…
Me: Someone wanna wash up the dishes for me now?
        Sister: Nope
        Father: No thanks
        Mother: No, I’m alright
Me: Guess I’m doing it then. *Sigh*
