Top 5 Wednesday is a weekly meme created by Lainey (Gingerreadslainey on Youtube) on Goodreads, and every Wednesday, book lovers will share their list of Top 5 books/characters/, etc. depending on the topic of the week through their book blogs, Instagram, Tumblr, etc. This week’s topic is actually Least Favorite Book in Your Favorite Series, but I couldn’t come up with anything, so I decided to do an old topic (from February 2014) which is Books You’d Like to See be Movies. BUT, I prefer TV series compared to movies, so I’m going to do Books I’d Like to See be TV Series instead 😉
I really love watching TV series, especially since Netflix happened and I can binge watch all my favorite TV series instead of watching one episode a week. I think that TV series allows more room for details from the original books compared to movies, where all the little things that make the books great have to be excluded. So, here is my list of Top 5 books I want to see as TV series.
While I don’t think that the book series is as amazing as the hype, I think that Red Queen could be a great TV series or even a movie. Seeing all the powers/abilities of the characters on screen would be awesome, and it would be very enjoyable to watch 🙂
4.Daughter of Smoke and Bone
I love this series! The story is amazing, and so are the characters. I think Daughter of Smoke and Bone would be a great TV show.
3.The Infernal Devices
Because who wouldn’t want to see Will, Jem and Tessa on TV? Especially Will 😉 I actually prefer The Infernal Devices more than The Mortal Instruments. Don’t get mad, but I just like Will and Tessa more than Jace and Clary…
2.Under the Never Sky
This is one of my favorite series, so I really want it to be a TV series. Even a movie would be fine, as long as I can see all the characters on a screen. I love the story, and Perry and Aria are awesome, and Roar is really great too!
Did you really think I wasn’t going to include Shatter Me on this list? Shatter Me is one of my most favorite books ever so, of course, it’s on the list! I know that it’s already going to be a TV series, but I’m still going to include it here, anyway.
So here is my Top 5 Wednesday post for this week. My midterm’s are finally over and I can go back to reading as much as I want 😉
