Teaser Tuesday: Splintered

Teaser

Teaser Tuesday is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of A Daily Rhythm. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
• BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

“Sometimes I think I’m not alone in my own head, that there’s a part of someone lingering there, someone who chides me to push myself beyond my limits.

Embracing the adrenaline surge, I launch.”

(Page 10-11 of Splintered by A.G. Howard)

I still haven’t finished reading this book yet 😦

I’ve been so busy this past two weeks and I didn’t have a lot of time to read or do any other things that I’d rather be doing. But hopefully starting this week I won’t be so busy anymore and I’ll get back on track with my reading schedule 🙂

This book (Splintered) is pretty good so far, I’ve only read half of it ( 😦 ), but I heard that the entire series is great so I’m looking forward to reading the next books 😀

Share a quote from your current read so I can maybe add it to my ginormous TBR list 🙂

  1. People keep recommending Splintered and the rest of the series to me, but somehow I have never actually started reading them… Your teaser makes me want to pick it up soon though, it sounds intriguing! Hopefully next month…

Happy reading! Here’s my teaser of All The Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr.
